Au Mahi - What You Will Do We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the area of environmental engineering. More specifically, you will be involved in the National Science Challenge project "Clean Water Technology for restoring Te Mana o te Wai". In this project, you will assist research students and faculty with the development of 3D-printed wastewater treatment filters created from biowastes and help lead research papers resulting from the investigations. The research team is multi-institutional and you will be working with leaders internationally recognised in their field for making a truly positive impact on reversing water quality pollution. The position offers many continuous professional development opportunities, including the ability to co-write research grant proposals. Mou - Who You Are You will have a PhD in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline with strong laboratory experience in an environmental engineering lab. Interest in and knowledge of clean water technologies is ideal. Ideally, you will: Have published as lead author a journal paper(s) in a Tier 1 journal Be seeking a research/academic career Be experienced with environmental/chemistry lab(s) and materials science is ideal. Have a strong understanding of biotechnology Have experience with supporting Masters/PhD students in the lab/co-authorship Be available to start in 2023 Experience in Life Cycle Assessment modelling would be an advantage.
