Part time – 30 hrs per week Monday to Friday  Immediate Start ABOUT US  Lifezone is an Open Brethren Congregation that exists to help people live for Jesus and share his love. We do this by creating communities where people can come as they are, grow deep, and live large. Our facility is located at 7 Oak Lane, Judea in Tauranga, a great central location to all main trunk lines in, out and around Tauranga and is a great space serving the needs of our community.  Lifezone have three permanent tenants in our facility and Monday to Saturday we make available 6 spaces for hire. These are utilised by community based organisations both Christian based and non Christian based.  A large kitchen with servery is available as well as smaller kitchenette in our Café / Welcome Lounge area  As a Church that lives for Jesus, our ministry-led outreach initiatives create spaces where people can come as they are, feel a sense of belonging and inclusion, receive nourishment, encouragement, advocacy, and support. We provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for our community. Our ministry-led initiatives include but are not limited to, Tumanako – Breakfast, Showers & Laundry Services for the homeless, Second Chances - Opshop, Time Out – Weekly arts and crafts group. Foodbank and Freezer Meals for those in need.  ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a special someone who can coordinate a wide range of tasks, from showing members of the public available spaces for hire, tending to all booking requirements, ensuring their time spent with us is a pleasant experience and ensuring all guests to our facility are greeted with Love and Respect. Some physical strength is required for this role as from time to time you may be required to set up tables and chairs or relocate them to other spaces. There are some practical aspects which include addressing repairs & maintenance issues, obtaining quotes, coordinating contractors, maintaining communications with our regular contractors. Building WOF compliance and health & safety compliance. We have a cleaning contractor who services our facility 3 times per week. With the large number of users coming in and out of the building each day there is additional cleaning that you must do to ensure spaces represent a place that is always clean and inviting.   We have fortnightly support with maintenance personnel to tend to any repairs, and you will also have the support of our congregation who are in and out of the building on a daily basis.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Build and maintain internal and external relationships. Act as the main point of contact for our tenants and guests for all bookings, enquiries, and support. Ensure policies, procedures and contractual requirements are adhered to. Administer & maintain keyholder access and ensure all lockup procedures are clear & maintained.  Perform day to day tasks associated with room reservations. Provide an exceptional service for all our guests.  Be familiar with features available in the facility (TV, Projectors & Sound – training provided)  Inform guests of key information regarding their reservations including health & safety upon arrival Monitor & maintain building compliance and checklists – training & support available. Identify and manage risk and enable a safety conscious culture. Act as point of contact for all contractors  Maintain administration for all activity associated with the building and services provided within Order Stock and Supplies for the facility as required. Maintain the facility and grounds to a clean and inviting standard. Maintain electronic communication and media ABOUT YOU A person who is helpful, flexible, and able to problem solve while being easy going, approachable and friendly. Comfortable interacting with all walks of life Someone who is understanding and considerate of others. Someone who maintains confidentiality.  A good understanding of Google Suite Have a minimum of 2 years administration experience.
