Christchurch Structures Foreman / Junior Site Engineer

Concrete Structures (NZ) Ltd is a leading nationwide civil engineering and construction company, specialising in civil structures including bridges, wharfs, reservoirs, underpasses, culverts, roads, foundations, piling, and the manufacture and erection of precast concrete products including pre-stressing and post-tensioning.
We require an experienced Site Foreman, preferably with an engineering qualification for our South Island Civil Operations.
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the project and equally as important must ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard, under tight time constraints.
You'll need to be able to think on your feet, solve problems and have great organisational skills.
Applicants must have the following attributes: Trade qualification and at least 5 years site supervisory/management experience Previous civil construction experience Preferably have the minimum units to operate Mobile and Crawler Cranes (US3789, 3795, 27676) or willingness to obtain them.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems 9001 &14001.
Reliable and punctual Physically fit and energetic Positive attitude Ability to manage and motivate a team Willingness to travel for work around the South Island and at times stay away from home during the working week.
A can do attitude and not afraid of a bit of hard work if required.
