We are looking for a Cook / Cleaner (35hrs per week)
Ability to work independently and efficiently, reliability and punctuality is a MUST!
This job is ideal for someone who adds a little magic not only to their cooking & cleaning, but also in their day-to-day routine. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
DUTIES FOR COOKING Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment, ensuring a high standard of work-safety practices at all times
Follow dietary and allergy requirements
Work independently and be responsible for weekly food ordering within an allocated budget
Be reasonably fit (pro-active role)
Focus on sustainability – reducing food waste
Work alongside our tamariki with process baking, helping to gather and cook from our maara kai
Plan, prepare and cook an appetising and varied menu including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
Be time efficient and knowledgeable about foods that promote good nutrition and healthy eating
Build reciprocal relationships with our tamariki, parents/whanau and kaiako
DUTIES FOR CLEANING Mop floors
Dust
Clean windows and doors
Clean bathrooms/toilet facilities
Have strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
