As the Chief Transformation Officer at Mercy Hospital, you will be responsible for: Developing strategies, alongside the executive team, to enhance Mercy's growth and sustainability Leading Mercy's technology team to ensure the ICT environment is fit-for-purpose and appropriately maintained and governed Developing a transformation strategy and road map that aligns with Mercy's overall strategic objectives Encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Maintaining an in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies Developing and implementing strategies to improve the patient experience, operational efficiency, effectiveness, and organisational sustainability Developing effective networks to ensure Mercy's ICT environment aligns with current and future healthcare industry needs Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure transformation projects are appropriately managed Ensuring any ICT updates, changes or transformation initiatives are clearly communicated and embedded across the organisation The successful candidate will possess strong relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a proven ability to influence and implement change. You will also need to demonstrate the following: Proven experience leading a technology team Extensive ICT, leadership, and influencing skills and experience Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex projects Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, or business administration, ideally at postgraduate level.
