On behalf of ARCO Group Limited, we are excited to announce a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven Chief Financial Officer to join this well-established construction leader based in Whangarei. ARCO Group has a legacy of over 30 years in delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose commercial construction projects across Northland, Waikato, Auckland, Bay of Plenty, and beyond. ARCO Group comprises several entities, each focused within the construction and property sectors. This role provides the unique opportunity to influence financial operations across a group of successful companies, contributing directly to continued growth and impact in the industry.As the CFO, you will join a high-caliber executive team and work closely with senior management to support and enhance the company's financial, legal, tax, and operational functions. You will have an instrumental role in guiding ARCO Group through continued growth, providing strategic insights, and optimising the financial processes that support its operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly management reporting, project cost analysis, and financial forecasting.Develop and manage budgets, ensuring accuracy across balance sheets and profit statements.Lead daily cashflow management, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll processing.Legal and ComplianceManage property agreements, attend to legal matters, and coordinate with external legal teams as needed.Conduct contract reviews, ensuring ARCO's interests are safeguarded in all supplier, tender, and customer engagements.Tax and ComplianceOversee GST returns and ensure full compliance with all tax obligations.Operational EfficiencyLead the implementation of lean systems across the company, enhancing processes to boost operational effectiveness.Take charge of insurance management, ensuring the company's assets are protected and insured appropriately.What We're Looking ForThis role demands a strategic, detail-oriented CFO with a strong background in finance within a high-performing organisation.
