As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)you will form part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the chief Executive Officer (CEO). The role supports the CEO to maximise commercial performance while ensuring that the aspirations of Iwi are met through constructive and collaborative partnerships with industry, Iwi and customers throughout the world.
The purpose of this role is to lead, manage and be accountable for the financial and commercial management of Moana New Zealand, ensuring robust and effective business support is provided to assist effective strategic, business and commercial decision making.
Specifically, the CFO is responsible for the commercial leadership, financial management, reporting, strategic planning activities, legal and risk management, tax, and treasury.
Key responsibilities and duties will include (but not limited to);
Provide financial and commercial leadership, expertise and advice to CEO, Executive Team and the BoardDevelop long-range financial strategies and business plansManage the reporting, budgeting, and forecasting process, including timely group financial reports for Moana New Zealand's Board and key stakeholdersProvide financial leadership, rigour and commercial acumen for M&A activitiesLead and manage the treasury functionDesign and implement a robust governance framework and systems at all levelsLiaise with internal and external auditorsAttend all Board meetings and provide knowledgeable input into finance and strategy related discussionShare Investor Relations responsibilities with the CEODeliver continuous improvement across Moana New Zealand's operational and financial performanceProvide leadership for the finance team and wider company, promoting the vision and purpose of Moana New ZealandNa tau rourou | What will you bring? To be considered for this position you must be an experienced, commercially focused, CFO who is a fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with a track record of i working in medium to large fast-paced, ever-changing environments within aligned industries; seafood, FMCG, food manufacturing, agriculture, primary industries etc.
