Chief Executive - North Otago Rugby Football Union We are looking for an experienced Chief Executive/Manager to oversee and control all strategic and business aspects of North Otago Rugby. You will be responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as continuing to drive the successful vision for success across all aspects of the organisation.
About the role
This is a 'hands-on' role, you must be a prudent manager, an inspiring leader, and a great communicator. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and be able to see the 'big picture and the small detail' in various settings. You will take action to enhance our support in the region and be the face of North Otago Rugby.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the ability to swiftly build relationships and credibility with stakeholders as well as seek out opportunities to benefit North Otago Rugby. You will be experienced in the effective financial management of an organisation, governance, managing staff, managing assets and being able to work with flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Budget control and reporting
Develop and maintain stakeholder, sponsors and funder relationships
Identify influencers and key industry groups, cultivating potential new business opportunities
Develop and implement a business plan and budget to support the strategic plan and ensure necessary resources are in place to meet agreed objectives
Focus on budget objectives around funding and expenses.
Manage the team to promote a health and innovative culture of growth and opportunity.
