Position Overview The Council is seeking its next chief executive who will lead the operations of this medium-sized organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need to: be a senior leader with experience leading a similar-sized operational organisation or business unit; possess well-developed people leadership skills, with the ability to empower and enable others; be a strategic thinker who is community and delivery-focused; have a sound understanding of working with iwi and an appreciation of the rural sector; demonstrate an agile approach to leading through change, especially in the context of upcoming changes within the local government sector; exhibit strong financial and political acumen.
