Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESSJob DescriptionWhat is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our Academies and the opportunity to earn qualifications while you workOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across Learning programs through our AcademiesAbility to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like School of changeWhat you will be doing:Conduct daily briefings and ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team membersSupervise and manage daily activities of the departmentEnsure that all team members are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job dutiesEducate/train team members on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all local laws and safety regulationsWork with Design and Construction team, engineers, and/or outside architects regarding renovations and other such projects; contact contractors for bids and meet with appropriate construction supervisorsSupervise the maintenance and repair of the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contentsEnsure the execution and achievement of the hotel's preventive maintenance programEstablish and maintain procedures with regards to the security and replenishment of the hotel's inventory and assets, such as (not limited to) tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions etc.May be responsible for determining the security requirements necessary to ensure that hotel property, employees, guests and patrons are protected against theft, crime, and other hazards, and/or manage the relationship with a third party security firm contracted for such purposesMonitor budget and control expenses within all areas of the departmentParticipate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financialQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Relevant building maintenance experience is an assetStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableStrong leadership, interpersonal and training skillsA motivator & self-starterAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
