This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Main Responsibilities:Prepare and manage budgets for repair and maintenance, heat, light, and power expenses.Analyze previous year's actual expenses and identify abnormal deviations.Study market prices and inflation rates to inform budgeting decisions.Request current prices for materials and parts, and analyze previous year's energy consumption and cost.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, considering manufacturer recommendations and technician training needs.Distribute working sheets to technicians and ensure timely reporting of un-maintained items.Maintain accurate records of performed maintenance and filing of actual performed sheets.Deal with outside contractors, surveying for quality and cost selection, and observing their performance.Report contract situations to the General Manager monthly and observe engineering stores and stock balances.Promote efficient use of resources, ensuring minimum stock levels and regular checking of stocks cards and rates consumption.Analyze abnormal consumption for correction and supervise staff training, preparing annual training plans accordingly.Perform additional training if necessary and match training with preventive maintenance observations.Report training activities to the General Manager and advise on serious matters affecting building, guest, or staff safety.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
