* Key strategic partner and problem solver for the organisation * Responsible for responding to high priority and/or complex issues on behalf of the Director-General of Health * Salary range of $163,000 – $215,000, actual salary dependent on your experience Ko ake mahi - What you'll do The Chief Advisor to the Director-General of Health serves as the primary liaison for responding to and resolving high-priority issues or complex problems.
Working directly to the Director-General of Health, you'll be a key strategic partner and dynamic senior leader that can translate strategic objectives and operational priorities into action to achieve measurable results.
In this position you will have the opportunity to: * Work directly with the Director-General of Health and act as a delegate as required.
* Be the primary liaison for responding swiftly to emerging issues, demonstrating agility, strategic thinking and thought leadership.
* Provide senior leadership, quality advice and support for critical projects.

Ko pukenga - What you'll bring * Significant health or social sector experience at a senior level * Experience in translating strategic vision and operational priorities into actionable strategies and driving momentum for complex projects * Strong political acumen and demonstrated experience operating within a complex organisational and political environment.
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a track record of successful project and work delivery.
