Chief Advisor - Maungakiekie-Tamaki - This is an IT support groupWe are seeking a visionary Chief Advisor to lead Whakaata Maori's strategic direction and cultural vision.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Ensure Whakaata Maori stays on course to meet its long-term goals and cultural vision.Leadership and Guidance: Lead and guide Te Tari Kaihautu (Chief Executive Office) in driving cross-functional initiatives.Government Relations: Forge strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure the voice of Whakaata Maori is heard and supported.Project Management: Coordinate and manage leadership teams to foster collaboration and seamless execution of strategic projects.Requirements:Maori Cultural Understanding: Deep understanding of te ao Maori and passion for integrating Maori cultural values.Strategic Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic leadership, advisory roles, or governance.Communication and Collaboration: Natural communicator and collaborator with ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.Proactive Leadership: Anticipate challenges and opportunities, driving organisational growth and cultural success.About Us:We are a movement to revitalise te reo Maori, uplift our culture, and share the beauty of Maori storytelling with the world.Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
