This is a senior technical role where you will provide well-informed expert technical advice, contribute to strategy development, mentor team members, and lead the delivery of key workstreams including a recently announced wholesale inquiry.Our Groceries Wholesale team is responsible for assessing the major supermarkets' wholesale offerings, to determine whether the wholesale regime is working as intended and whether further regulatory intervention is needed. They also conduct public inquiries about further regulatory interventions and drafting and consulting on rules, and policy advocacy in relation to the grocery wholesale regime. They are currently conducting an inquiry to determine whether further regulation of grocery wholesale is needed and this role will be key to the successful delivery of this work.This role can be based, in our either Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.The indicative salary range for this role is $145,986 - $171,748 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.We are looking for someone who will be excited about moving between developing strategy as well as rolling their sleeves up to get the work done.
