Ki Maha is now recruiting for the summer season and beyond, with full time positions for talented chefs, in seasonal and long term positions.
Ki Maha is one of the best beachside restaurants New Zealand has to offer, located in one of the top destinations Waiheke Island.
We are open 7 days through summer, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
You must be willing to relocate to Waiheke Island and staff accomodation is available to assist in this transition.

We are looking for: Sous Chef The role entities assisting the Head Chef in the day to day running of Ki Maha's kitchen, assuming responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef.
This role is a senior role and the ideal candidate will ideally have at least 3 years' experience in a busy commercial kitchen and/or a professional cookery qualification.
Key Tasks Assist the Head Chef with menu planning and bring new ideas to the table.Ensure that the kitchen delivers consistent, high quality food that meets and cost control standards.Uphold morale in the kitchen, and impart knowledge, skills and training to kitchen staff to ensure high standards.
Chef de Partie To manage the operation of a designated section of the kitchen following the Head Chef & Sous Chef's guideline – providing maximum quality in order to satisfy customer expectations.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years' experience in a busy commercial environment or a professional cookery qualification.
Key Tasks Responsible for the operation of a designated section of the kitchen.Ensure that recipes and proportions are strictly adhered to, to ensure consistency, quality and cost control.Perform food preparation tasks in the kitchen – assisting senior chefs to prepare stipulated menu items or ingredients for dishes.
