Position Overview: We are looking for a number of skilled Chef with at least 3 years of professional kitchen experience or a Level 4 cookery qualification.
The ideal candidate will be a leader with a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management, committed to delivering outstanding food and maintaining top-notch operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: ? Menu Management: Regularly update menus with a focus on seasonal availability and ensure all menus are costed and priced to achieve required gross profit.
? Staff Training: Train all kitchen staff to ensure proper portion control and pleasing presentation of dishes.
? Kitchen Operations: Hold regular meetings with key kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and address food preparation issues.
? Hygiene and Safety: Ensure that all areas under your control meet stringent hygiene requirements and that staff who are ill or injured receive appropriate treatment.
? Staff Appearance: Ensure all staff are correctly dressed in compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to the establishment's image.
? Stock Management: Order stock in correct quantities, quality, and price, and ensure all stocks are stored securely and under the correct conditions.
? Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to minimize breakdowns.
? Continuous Improvement: Regularly update your knowledge and skills to benefit the establishment.
? Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the employer.
Qualifications: ? Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or a Level 4 cookery qualification.
? Strong leadership and team management skills.
