The Birdwood Eatery & Pizzeria has an established reputation for exceptional wood-fired, hand stretched, sourdough pizzas, home-made pasta & other deliciousness. They are an epicentre of their community with a strong, loyal following backed up by a number of awards.
The Opportunity:
Primarily focused on their highly regarded pizzas during lunch & dinner service, the role will also encompass flexibility to providing assistance to the wider kitchen team across different sections as required.
With a minimum of two years experience with a wood-fired oven & able to confidently hand-stretch, a suitable candidate will lend themselves to work under pressure whilst delivering quality, consistent product.
Joining an established, high performing team of chefs, led by the Head Chef & Director Nick Freeman, they are particularly mindful of adding to their company culture of inclusiveness and diversity that reflects the modern, progressive nature of the hospitality industry. You should be adept at working collaboratively with both kitchen & front of house teams to ensure a smooth & successful service.
