Chef Manager - Ashbury Heights WhangareiWorking 40 hours across a 7 day week.We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, reliable and experienced Chef Manager who has a passion for food and is keen to take the next step in their career by joining our team.Cater Plus is the proud service provider for the new Ashbury Heights Resthome in Whangarei. We are committed to providing high quality meals that are produced fresh every day.To make this happen, we need a motivated Chef Manager who is passionate about food and excellent service.To be successful in this role, you need to be able to multitask, have a friendly disposition, and show good communication skills in order to interact with care staff and residents. Reliability will rate as one of your key attributes.This position is a pivotal part of our team, and we require experience in a rest home or lifestyle village environment.You will be involved in all aspects of food preparation and service, along with a commitment to maintaining our food safety programme and maintaining a close relationship with our client.Reporting to the Northland Operations Manager, the Chef Manager position will require a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience.Responsible for:All aspects of running a kitchen and managing budget and staff costs.Patient and staff menu design and implementation including special dietary requirements.Managing Food Control Plan implementation to regulations.Preparing and serving morning and afternoon teas, and lunches.Other conditions for this role:Police vetting is a requirement for this role.Who we are:Cater Plus is a food service company that is big enough to deliver, but small enough to care.
