Responsibilities include leading curriculum development, delivering courses, assessing learning outcomes, and managing related administrative tasks.
The role also involves organising events such as webinars, catering, and in-person classes, while maintaining accreditation and quality standards set by relevant bodies.Reporting to the Academic Operations Manager with a supporting role to the Group Executive Chef your duties will include:Administrative support for students and course processesAssist with and contribute to the development of course materialAssessment and evaluation of learning outcomes, keeping full records of student marks and learning progress on the Student Management SystemProvide effective course and/or programme leadership where requiredWe are a global business; therefore, you will need to make yourself available for meetings with the global teams.
We do try to schedule calls at reasonable times, but you will need to try to meet the student demands.
Your success is measured by the student's success.Skills/Knowledge RequirementsStrong attention to detail.
Efficient, organised and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressureExcellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to learn the International Culinary Studio student learning platform (CANVAS), Student Management System (SELMA) and supporting IT systems)Have an excellent industry contacts databaseBe affiliated with Industry bodies e.g.
Chefs Association, Hospitality Association.The ability to demonstrate current and ongoing lifelong learning to stay current and up to date with culinary education and changes globally.Qualification/Experience Requirements• Minimum of 5 years work experience in varied Chef positions within a Commercial Kitchen in the Industry (International Culinary Experience an advantage)• Qualified as a Chef minimum Diploma Level 5 or above• Qualified in Adult Teaching and Training• Qualified in Workplace Assessment• Minimum of 2 years in an adult teaching and training environment• Experience in blended learning models i.e.
