We are looking for Chefs to work with our Head Chefs and be a part of establishing an exceptional team to deliver our vision.As a key part of our Ayrburn team, you will be an excellent communicator and an expert at building and maintaining key relationships. This unique and exciting opportunity will see you working closely alongside the management team and be an integral part of setting and maintaining our standards.You will be experienced in high-volume, high-end cuisine with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in delivering exceptional service every time. The role of the Chef is to participate in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and be skilled to prepare menu items in all sections in line with HACCP standards.You will be responsible for:Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including adhering to internal and external policies and procedures.Assisting with menu development and execution.Having business acumen and understanding financials, food and labour budgets, etc.People management including recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.Being a subject matter expert, understanding food trends and conducting market research.Recognising when maintenance is required on kitchen equipment and communicating accordingly.Coordinating and completing monthly stocktakes.Ensuring health and safety is always at the forefront.Ensuring all kitchen logs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.Ensuring the kitchen has a high level of cleanliness at all times.This role is Full-time with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week, with the wage range being $30.00 - 36.00 depending on experience.In terms of you, this role will take a high level of commitment and drive with the ultimate goal of making the business a success.
