Specific knowledge and skills required are: Experienced Chef Minimum of 30 hours per week - $28 - $30 per hour NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) and/or 3 years relevant experienceplanning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food suppliesmonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationdiscussing food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and wait staffdemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedurespreparing and cooking foodexplaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsmay select and train staffmay freeze and preserve foodsWe are a team, everyone is important and has a role to play.
