Chefs x 2 
We are currently looking for 2 chefs to fill two permanent full-time vacant Chef positions in our restaurant in the Bay of Plenty.
You will be expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. 
Job responsibilities:
•   Ability to cook on a charcoal grill•   planning menus, coming up with new ideas and understanding how to cost food, order food and general supplies, and comprehending the cost to produce plates including costs of staffing•    monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation and delivery to the customer•    discussing food preparation issues with other parties, including but not necessarily limited to Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff•    demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures•    understand how to grill, bbq, saute, fry, and prepare including dishes such as •    preparing and cooking food in a variety of manners•    explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations•    may select and train staff as needs arise•    may freeze and preserve foods
•    Ability to multitask 
Work experience:

We require the ideal candidate to have at least 3 years of work experience as a Chef, ideally in a busy restaurant setting.
It is advantageous if the candidate has a familiarity with the Mediterranean Cuisine.

What the job involves:
You will be organised into a rotating roster and you will be required to work all days of the week including the weekend with 2 days off.
What you will be rewarded with:
$30-33 per hour depending on experience
