About the role Permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week.
Responsibilities As a Senior CDP, you are responsible for supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy kitchen and delivering consistently high-quality food. Some of your responsibilities include:
Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by your seniors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Group.
Coordinating daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
Supervision of junior chefs and commis.
Estimating the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure all standards are met.
Ensuring that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards.
Operating and maintaining all department equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
Ensuring effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
Producing own work following a deadline and assisting and encouraging others in achieving this aim.
Carrying out any other duties required by your seniors.
