Soho Auckland features the new Tiger Bar & Restaurant which brings a unique Asian-Fusion dining experience. Tiger Bar & Restaurant caters for up to 90 guests, and the spacious conferencing and events facilities on the hotel's Mezzanine floor can host up to 200 delegates.
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef De Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic team at Auckland's premier urban hotel, Soho Auckland which boasts Tiger Bar & Restaurant as well as extensive conference facilities. As CDP,  you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable culinary experiences for our guests, ensuring that the highest standards of food quality, taste and presentation are front of mind at all times. Experience in conference and large events is required and previous experience with Asian and Indian cuisine is desirable. 
Responsibilities:  To be a great team player with excellent communication skills.Execute menus in line with the latest trends and variety for Tiger Bar & Restaurant, Cafe Luxe, conferences and banqueting, at a high standard.To ensure that appearance and quality are consistently maintained.To have great organisational skills and the ability to problem solve and make decisions.  To have great knowledge and experience in banqueting and larger scale events.Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Kitchen is fully compliant to the SOP's, Policies, procedures, and service standards. Experience:  2 years' experience as Chef De Partie Experience working in high-volume kitchens and working with large teamsBuilding a great culture and collaborative kitchen environment.Previous experience with Asian-Fusion and Indian cuisine.Large scale conference and banquet catering experience.We invite you to apply for the opportunity by submitting your application to (email protected)
