Come and work in a unique location: Dual World Heritage National Park venue.

It is also the home base for the World famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing – amongst the most popular day hikes in the country and the place we call home – The Skotel Alpine Resort.
Skotel is the highest hotel in NZ. Nested in tussock on the edge of Whakapapa Village in the heart of Tongariro National Park, at the base of New Zealand's largest Ski field.
We are a 56-room family-owned and operated hotel looking to gear up with key kitchen staff. The Terrace Restaurant and Bar is at the centre of the hotel and offers breakfast, packed lunches, and dinner to our clients.

We are a friendly team with two very experienced chefs and other staff. We are looking for people who wish to learn and share knowledge with the team.
We are a 7-day operation with rostered hours and two days off every 5 days. Work outside of these may be required occasionally to support function activities.
This could be either a seasonal/permanent role, working for a minimum of 40 hours per week, and the pay rate will be based on suitable experience. Accommodation is available at a fair rate. We have some staff housing based in National Park, so a reliable car is essential, but we also have accommodation available in the resort itself.
