Trinity Wharf Tauranga is an over-water hotel, restaurant and events destination. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our kitchen team as a Chef de partie.

30 - 40 hours per week.
7-day rotating roster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of food in accordance to daily task lists and function sheets.
Can comfortably complete food preparation and the execution of small to large banquets; buffet or plated menu's for up to 350 guests.
Prepare and cook meals under the guidance of the Head Chef or Sous Chef (as appropriate) to hotel standards.
Adhere to the NZ Food Safety manual and complete Food Safety checklists as directed.
Participate in the building and planning of new menus.
Complete opening and closing kitchen checklists.
Assist in maintaining high-levels of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with organisational standards.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
New Zealand Diploma in Cookery (Level 5).
Diverse skillset and experience across a wide range of restaurant types. Functions experience advantageous.
A high level of energy and demonstrated flexibility in food preparation and presentation.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised.
A passion for food and presentation.
Ability to work competently under pressure.
Reliable & flexible to change.
