Chef De Partie

Bambina is an award-winning Ponsonby institution that has been part of the community for over 25 years. With that we have built a strong connection with the community, which we hope to only strengthen in the future. We are looking for a Chef De Partie to join our close-knit team on a Full Time Basis. This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to step up from a more junior role or for an experienced Chef who would like better work/life balance. This role will include Food Prep, cooking and plating of meals. There is an opportunity to move up to a more senior role further on down the line. You will be required to work one Weekend day a week and 4 Weekday days. Who are we looking for? · You must have at least 2 years' cooking experience, Café experience would be advantageous. · You will be working closely with the Owner and our Head Chef, to manage the kitchen. Being responsible for ordering, stock management and maintaining OHS standards · Someone who is happy to build rapport with our daily regular customers. · Work well under pressure in a fast-paced Café and able to fit in with our awesome team.
