***OUR ROLES ARE BASED 1.5 HOURS NORTH OF AUCKLAND - Te Arai Links is a high-end luxury golf resort, with new venues opening for the summer season ahead - we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our venues for the season, or longer if you are interested!
All of our venues have stunning ocean views, based along some of the best surf beaches in the North Island - join us!
Key responsibilities will include: Managing a section for the preparation and service of menus for each dining period to the highest standardCooking for high-end guests, requiring flexibility with menus and attention to guest's special dietary needs, allergies, preferences, and requestsAssist the Head Chef in ensuring stock levels are maintainedEfficiently prepare for dining periods so that appropriate quantities are cookedEnsure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with the food health and safety standards of New ZealandAbout you You will be an experienced chef and bring enthusiasm and energy to these exciting new roles!
Teamwork will be second nature to you and allow you to work collaboratively to deliver exceptional service.
Other attributes that would contribute to your success would include: Some professional experience is preferredCertificate in basic food hygiene or similar work experienceConfidence in managing multiple sections in a busy a la carte kitchen with emphasis on consistency and creativityAbility to work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidaysDrivers licence and vehicle
