This is a permanent, full-time role offering 5 rostered shifts in 7 day period. We operate 11am – late, 7 days a week, so you'll need to be able to work a range of shifts across any given week and weekend.

Ideally, you'll have 2-3 years experience OR a NZ Certificate in Cookery Level 4.
The primary purpose of the Chef de Partie is to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef. You'll be a leader, trainer and mentor to Junior Chefs and Kitchen Hands. By supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef your purpose is to absorb skills needed to effectively lead a team of Chefs, understand menu costings & development and run a kitchen efficiently and innovatively.
Key skills:
Preparation of the food, menu and stock management. Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control, and costs. Ability to execute and follow a food control plan Consistency with prep, cooking, and plating to a high level. Responsible and sole charge of your section. We offer competitive remuneration of $30 per hour. Plus, a 50% discount on food and beverage at our restaurants, and flexible rostering. This is a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week at our eatery in Ahuriri, Napier, Hawke's Bay.
