As a key member of our kitchen Heartist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian dishes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to restaurant recipes and standardsEnsure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishesCollaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations during serviceManage your station efficiently, including mise en place and inventory controlAssist in menu development and suggest innovative Asian dishesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to all food safety and hygiene regulationsTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff in Asian cooking techniquesCommunicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staffParticipate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improvementQualificationsProven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, specializing in Asian cuisineIn-depth knowledge of various Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredientsStrong culinary skills with the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentationExcellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on consistency and qualityKnowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsAbility to follow recipes accurately and maintain portion controlFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysCulinary degree or relevant certification is preferredProficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
