36.5 hours per week Sunday – Thursday – term time only
(Monday to Thursday 11.30am-7pm & Sunday 10am-7pm)
This position caters for a hearty home-style evening meal for the 120 boarders at Craighead Diocesan School. It is ideal for an individual with a passion for food and excellent service, who prides themself on producing consistently delicious meals.
This is a rare opportunity for a Chef with a talent for baking to join Cater Plus and the family at Craighead Diocesan School where we aim to provide a home away from home that supports strong and healthy wellbeing.
The successful candidate will be a chef with a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, who can:
Ensure quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation. Deliver the evening meal and supper to the students. Design menus that are student friendly. Demonstrate knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to implement NZ food control and safety regulations. Demonstrate great communication skills and moderate computer literacy. Please note this role is on an educational contract, meaning there is no guarantee of work during the school term breaks and summer holidays – giving you more time to spend with family and friends.
