Chat Support Officer

Job Description: Tech Data is seeking a confident and hardworking Chat Support Officer to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As a Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through our online chat platform. This role is part-time and entry-level, requiring at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Responsibilities:1. Engage with customers through chat to provide support and assistance with their inquiries or issues.2. Use strategic planning and decision-making skills to resolve customer concerns efficiently and effectively.3. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while assisting customers with their questions or concerns.4. Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and follow up on any unresolved issues.5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all platforms.6. Continuously learn and adapt to stay ahead in a rapidly changing world of technology and customer service. Requirements:1. 1 year of experience in a customer service role.2. Confident and hardworking personality traits.3. Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills.4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.6. Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software.7. High school diploma or equivalent.
