Job Description: Big Lots is seeking a driven and reliable Chat Support Officer to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through chat support channels. Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner via chat support.2. Assist customers with product inquiries, order status updates, and issue resolution.3. Conduct research and gather information to address customer concerns effectively.4. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.5. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.7. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to chat support efficiency and customer satisfaction. Requirements:1. 2 years of experience in a customer service role, with a strong preference for experience in chat support.2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.4. Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of chat support platforms.5. Strong planning and research skills.6. Driven and reliable personality traits.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Benefits:1.
