Mon-Fri only for work/life balance with a leading surgical provider.About the roleThis is a full time role working 40hrs per week with 8hr shifts between 7.30-8pm. As the Charge Nurse in PACU you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical care of the patients as well as performing administrative duties. Your time will be split up between patient care and administrative tasks in a 80/20 or 70/30 split.Benefits: Mon-Fri ONLYChristmas and New Year breakMix of clinical and administrative dutiesBe involved in a rage of proceduresTake ownership of your own teamCompetitive salaryWellbeing programmeNZ Council approved PDRP What you have to do Be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care during their recovery from anesthesiaOversee the day to day operations ensuring efficient and effective patient care is delivered to the highest standardsProvide leadership and support to the team of registered nurses, including coaching and mentoring to ensure professional developmentCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plansSupport and participate in the continuous professional development of the department staffMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Skills and Experience Must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with current APC and experience applicable to a PACU environment.
