About the role


We are looking for a Senior Nurse to join the Emergency Department nursing leadership team as either our Kidz First ED or Acute Adult ED Charge Nurse Manager!

Some of the essential work you will be doing:


Provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadership
Promote excellence in best practice, and safe, high-quality patient and whaanau centred care, resulting in a great patient experience
Continue to coach, mentor, and develop the ED Nursing team, supporting, and enabling nurses to work to their top of scope
Support and enable the ED department to meet key performance indicators

About you
Are you an experienced senior nurse looking for an exciting and rewarding challenge of leading a high performing team? To be successful in this role you will need:

New Zealand Nursing Registration
Current Annual Practicing Certificate
Minimum 7 years recent and relevant experience
Acute nursing experience, ED experience preferred
Acute paediatric experience preferred (for Kidz First CNM role)
Masters' qualification or are currently working towards this
Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
Proven leadership and staff management experience
