Charge Nurse Manager - Gynaecology Care Unit

The Gynaecology Care Unit provides care for the Waahine of our culturally diverse community. We are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing culturally safe care.

The Gynaecology Care Unit provides care to people with all gynaecological conditions, including care of people experiencing early pregnancy loss and abortions.
We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and dedicated Charge Nurse Manager to lead our Gynaecology Care Unit, including the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and our dedicated team.
You will need to be adaptable, demonstrate strong communication skills, have time management skills, and be waahine and whaanau focussed while also continuing to grow and develop the current team within the ward to provide safe patient and whaanau focused care.
In this dynamic environment, as Charge Nurse Manager, you will be required to provide strong clinical and professional leadership to your team.
You will have experience at a leadership level, great interpersonal skills, lots of enthusiasm, be a team player, and be very well organised.

Essential Requirements:New Zealand Nursing RegistrationCurrent Annual Practicing CertificateMinimum 5 years' experience in patient nursing environment in NZCompleted Postgraduate Diploma with a strong commitment to ongoing professional developmentDemonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practiceAbility to provide coaching and mentoringProven leadership and staff management experienceProven ability to apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a health care settingDesirable:Clinical experience in Women's HealthDon't miss this unique opportunity!
