Charge Nurse Manager – GastroenterologyDunedin HospitalSalary Band – $126,000 - $138,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per weekPermanent VacancyThe gastroenterology service is Dunedin based and provides care district wide.Mo te turanga | About the roleThe Charge Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of unit service delivery including clinical leadership & coordination, operational functions, quality and financial performance, human resource management, quality and risk management, clinical pathway development and other service delivery improvements throughout the gastroenterology service.Provide clinical leadership, coordination, and management.Mentor staff as they gain knowledge and skills.Foster a culture of clinical excellence, innovation and strategic thinking.Recruit, lead, educate, and develop both new members and existing staff.Supervise, mentor, and develop relationships through close liaison with other services both internal and external.Facilitate clinical practice development within the multidisciplinary team.Participate in service development planning.Mou ake | About youEligible to work in NZ with current APC.Proven clinical credibility and leadership experience in a New Zealand setting.Hold a current PDRP/QLP or equivalent.Dynamic personality and great communication and time management skills.You will be joining a dedicated, supportive, and friendly team of health professionals.
