Charge Nurse - Level 4 PACU Permanent Full-time role Location: Auckland City Hospital Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Exciting senior nursing role! Hone your staff management and leadership skills with this great team. Bring your expertise, your knowledge and your skills to make a difference around the way we approach our mahi to better meet patients, whanau and stakeholder needs. You need to be a master in relationship building, and liaising with a multi-disciplinary group. In this role you will take responsibility for the overall coordination of patient flow within Pre and post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) based at Auckland City Hospital. On a daily basis you will be coordinating the nursing staff and resources to care for the patients that day. This role forms part of the senior nursing team in Level 4 Cardiothoracic and ORL Operating Theatres. For further details, please refer to the position description  . Nga Pukenga Motuhake | Important Skills You will be a Registered Nurse with 5 years of PACU experience, with strong knowledge and decision making skills. You are able to build exceptional teams, providing clinical leadership and continuing professional development for our Registered Nurses in the department. You will be part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high quality experience and outcome for our patients.
