One of the key roles in our new team is the Channel Specialist.
The Channel Specialist will develop a Waikato District Council Channel Approach and be responsible for designing and overseeing all the requirements needed to successfully implement information, customer and communication channels.
This role will report to the Community Relations Specialist (a role that supports a proactive approach to media and story-telling) and work across the organisation to provide leadership, supervision and capability building across all our channels.
What I do?
In partnership with the rest of the Communication team, develop and implement the WDC Channel Approach to support communication and engagement outcomes across all channels.
Provide advice to maximise use of channels for communication and customer responsiveness.
Manage quality and master data of our intranet, website, and social media communication channels.
