About this role:Our Communication Team has recently re-evaluated its approach to engaging with our citizens, customers, and employees and is now dedicated to delivering on our Trust and Confidence strategy. In pursuit of this goal, we are thrilled to announce new opportunities for skilled communications professionals.
The Communication Team will offer strategic counsel on the how and when of our communication and engagement efforts, and the necessary frameworks and support to enhance performance across the board.
One of the key roles in our new team is the Channel Specialist. Reporting to the Community Relations Specialist, this role will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing our channel approach, while providing leadership, advice, and supervision across our communication and customer service channel delivery.
What I do?In partnership with the rest of the Communication team, develop and implement the WDC Channel Approach to support communication and engagement outcomes across all channels.Provide advice to maximise use of channels for communication and customer responsiveness.Manage quality and master data of our intranet, website, and social media communication channels.Why join our team?Our head office is based in north Waikato's, Ngaaruawaahia, 15 minutes from Hamilton or an hour or so from Auckland against the traffic.
