The business is passionate about growing well-regarded brands across the supermarket and retail and alternate channels.
Reporting to the GM of Grocery, the key objective of this newly created role is to develop profitable sales for the portfolio with foodservice, wholesale, commercial, and alternate brands.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is currently in a similar environment or sales role in the FMCG food and distribution sector.
Role Objectives Lead and develop a clear strategy to grow the existing sales base but to also explore additional growth opportunities for the Food Service and Alternate channels Seek additional growth opportunities for products that sit outside the traditional grocery sector.
Build, develop, and maintain robust relationships with all key members within the customer base Monitor business performance with analysis against KPIs Work with the Field sales teams to execute growth Execute with excellence the various product, pricing, promotional, and category strategies of the business Build relationships across the business from Sales, customer services, operations, and senior management Achieve financial targets and optimize spend across trade and promotional plans Your sales capability will see you develop new growth opportunities by product and customer About you: You will have a proven track record in building, growing, and maintaining high-level relationships across the FMCG grocery, foodservice, and retail channels.
