We have an opportunity for a highly skilled business change manager to join our team. This Change Manager role will suit a change management practitioner experienced in landing complex change well.
Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate complex change management, enabling sustained outcomes.Apply different methods and tools at each phase of the change management lifecycle (design, deliver, evaluate, and embed effective change interventions).Assess stakeholder impacts and pain points, designing the right change management interventions based on this analysis.Ensure early adoption and high uptake through expertise in all aspects of stakeholder engagement and change management.Build capability with people leaders to lead change effectively.Enable people to adopt new ways of thinking and working, including competency development, training needs analysis, training design, delivery and evaluation, and advanced coaching skills.Evaluate and embed change to achieve lasting results.You will be a great team player with a can-do attitude, willing to lead a small, project-based change team on occasions, and able to coach colleagues in effective change management practices and techniques.
About you: You will be proficient in facilitating strategic or business change management, working with leaders to design and land change well. You will be adept at working in ambiguity, problem-solving, and shaping sound solutions. In addition to your technical change management skillset, you'll bring a strong customer focus and sound operational and leadership experience.
You will be used to working in fast-paced project and programme environments and will have a proven track record in achieving results. Change management experience in either digital or business settings is required. Some experience in HR/OD change would be a bonus.
Ideally, you'll also bring knowledge of Te Ao Maori; and otherwise, a commitment to learn about and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori, along with an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
