Due to Firths commitment to professional development and an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Plant Operator looking to take the next step their career as a Plant Manager. Ko ta matou mahi | Our Role This is a very diverse role where you will be accountable for the full regional operations across Gisborne and a highly engaged team of 6, this is a growth area for Firth with a large pipeline of infrastructure and re-build work ahead. As one of our more regional plants, you will be heavily integrated into the daily activities of the Gisborne operation and be well versed in supporting production and operational activities. You'll be tasked with growing and servicing our customer network as well as supporting collaboratively across your wider region. This role requires someone who understands situational leadership, sets high standards, has the 'right' attitude, enthusiasm and drive. As well as the interpersonal skills able to lead within a diverse team and community, and make the 'tough' calls when required.
