In this role you will be responsible for audits and investigations into areas of high risk and non-compliance within the vehicle certification sector. Drawing on your vehicle certification experience and excellent Vehicle Inspection Requirement Manuals (VIRM) knowledge, you will regularly visit and engage with regulated parties in your region to ensure that they are meeting compliance and legislative requirements to a range of situations such as:Routine performance reviews of Inspecting Organisations (IO's) and Vehicle Inspectors (VI's)Assessing IO's and VI's for entry into the systemInvestigating vehicle certification complaints and regional investigations against IO's and VI'sResponding appropriately to non-compliance and safety issues using a range of compliance support and enforcement interventions to ensure a safe land transport systemYou will be required to write high quality reports relating to those visits which will include your findings and implementation of statutory interventions and other regulatory activities as necessary. Reporting also includes updating of spreadsheets to include your findings, ensuring that desired outcomes are reached in a timely manner, resulting in greater safety and compliance.
