The Bay of Plenty Regional Council Toi Moana (BOPRC) is the caretaker/kaitiaki tasked with leading the sustainable management of the region's natural resources, working closely with six territorial authorities to safeguard the environment now and into the future. BOPRC is responsible for land, air and water, as well as maritime safety, coordinating response to natural disasters, planning for climate change and ensuring that land and public transport are fit for purpose to support the dynamic growth of this regional community.
