Together, we can help our people to stay healthy and meaningfully engaged.The University Counselling Services (UCS) (Health and Wellbeing, Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the general student population in NUS, as well as specific students who are exposed to acute mentally-stressful events.Your role as the Centre Manager requires you to be responsible for organising the centre's day to day operation as well as working on its strategic development. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team who is passionate about supporting and enhancing the well-being of NUS students.Key Responsibilities:Day to Day Operation:Ensure the smooth running of the Front Desk (FD) operation, including but not limited to, organising Front Desk works, creating and monitoring FD schedules to ensure smooth running of the operations. Work closely with Head of Centre in ensuring the staff and centre's compliance of standard operation procedure and delivery of quality services. Maintain communication and collaboration with Head of Centre to ensure smooth running of centre's operation.Budget Management:Assist Head of Centre in developing and managing centre's budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation of resources. Monitor budget utilisation of staff within the financial year, manage and monitor centre's logistics needs and supplies to support the centre's operation and programmes. Analyse financial data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and implement cost-saving measures as discussed and agreed with Head.System and Data Management:Responsible to ensure that centre's management and information system runs smoothly, engage in troubleshooting steps to solve problems or improve system and operations. Prepare comprehensive reports to inform clinical practices, program evaluations, and/or strategic decisions. Collaborate with Head to analyse data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and design new processes or initiatives, as required.Hiring and Training:Arrange and interview administrative staff candidates. Involve in interview process for clinicians as needed. Orientate, train, and develop administrative staff to meet the centre's standard and requirements.Qualifications:Hold at least a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health Administration or any other related degree.Have at least 5 years' working experience in social work/health system/educational system with managerial or supervisory related experiences.Have experience in administrative supervisory role including staff management and development.Possess knowledge in customer services, accounting, purchasing and procurement system and processes, and budget planning.Possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Possess organisation, managerial, leadership and communication skills.Possess knowledge and skills in data entry and analysis.More Information:Location: Kent Ridge CampusOrganization: National University of SingaporeDepartment: University Counselling Services, Office of the PresidentEmployee Referral Eligible:Job requisition ID: 27192
