This is a role where you will wear many hats. You will need to be adaptable and have the ability to meet a variety of needs. You will need to have strong, positive communication skills that encourage, motivate, and inspire the team.
Strong community relationships are essential in this role, as well as being responsible for compliance, budgets, liaising with the team on the Governance Board, employment, professional growth cycles of staff, meetings, and internal reviews. You will be an essential part of decision making for the future growth and positive direction of our centre.

Our Kaiako design programmes around nga tamariki, their current needs, and emerging interests, underpinned by the principles of Te Whariki. Enriched play-based experiences promote creative, expressive, and active exploration for Tamariki.
What we're looking for:
BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics, Sharepoint, and Storypark
Demonstrated leadership experience, showing innovation, dedication, and a passion for ECE
Initiative, desire, and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whariki.
