Operating 4 learning spaces and boasting lovely indoor and outdoor environments, you will step in to lead a team of young but enthusiastic team of Kaiako who are passionate about the mahi they do and opportunities they offer tamariki in the Levin community.Our Centre provides a van service and all meals for Tamariki.
We are looking for someone who is excited about becoming a leader of teachers, who can guide, support and model expectation with their teaching team and someone who is genuinely passionate about ECE and who understands and celebrates community, engagement, and growth within a team.
Working closely with your Area Manager, you will build a culture of positivity and success in the Centre, strengthening team engagement and retention. Your support will enable your team to work collaboratively, achieving both educational and operational objectives. Your judgement and leadershipwill motivate and inspire your people to deliver exceptional early childcare education (ECE) services to tamariki and their whanau.
Here you'll provide effective hands-on leadership that encourages, supports, and enables all team members to achieve their objectives and goals. You'll lead with a strong commitment to equity, ensuring fair and inclusive practices. You will make an impact with occupancy, compliance, and engagement across your team.

What we're looking for in you:
You are ECE Qualified and hold Full Teaching Registration.
You ideally have demonstrated experience in a Centre Manager role and understand what it takes to run a successful ECE Centre.
You have good business acumen and the ability to manage sustainably and profitably for optimum results.
You take a holistic approach to management – you know that people are at the heart of everything and you're an exceptional communicator and relationship builder.
You thrive on challenge, learning and opportunity, and you're excited to bring your expertise to the team.
