BestStart Leeds Street is conveniently situated in the inner city of Wellington. However, we believe our learning environment extends beyond our property and into the surrounding city. We are urban explorers and can be seen out and about the central city every week. We explore the city for art whether it be the streets, art galleries or museums, we photograph it, draw it and have discussions about it.

This is a fixed-term position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday ending May 2025.

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, pedagogy and curriculum Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices You'll be known for being a great coach, who can unlock the potential of others You are an innovator, both in input and output – being part of simplifying the way we do things excites you!
