Centre Cook - Woolston

We are looking for a creative cook to join our supportive team, at our lovely centre in Woolston.
As Centre Cook you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of vegetarian meals for up to 88 children each day.

Full time, permanent (40 hours, 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30 min lunch break) Monday to FridayNZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisiteKindercare police vet all potential employeesAs an important member of our team, you will be:
Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipesCommitted to the highest standards of cleanliness and health & safety requirements, and adhering to our policies and proceduresA cheerful multi-tasker, with excellent time-management skills and high energyWilling to cover teachers breaks for short periods of time, as well as taking care of cleaning and laundry tasks as requiredA genuine heart for supporting our whanauand our communityProficient in verbal and written EnglishAn understanding of children's nutritional needs and the ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is essential for this role, as well as being capable of keeping within budget and ordering supplies.
